Valpo Student-Athletes Continue to Thrive in Classroom

The Valparaiso University Department of Athletics sustained its academic excellence this semester as 243 student-athletes achieved grade point averages of 3.0 or above.
Valpo boasted 150 student-athletes with GPAs of 3.5 or better for the Spring 2021 term, while 31 earned perfect 4.0 semester GPAs.
Valpo student-athletes posted a collective 3.17 GPA for the Spring 2021 term and currently hold a cumulative GPA of 3.24. The department featured 13 teams with spring semester GPAs of 3.0 or better: baseball, men’s cross country, men’s golf, men’s track & field, women’s basketball, bowling, women’s golf, soccer, softball, women’s swimming, tennis, women’s track & field and volleyball.
