Katelyn Dye joined the Valpo Athletics staff full-time as an asssistant athletic trainer for the 2021-2022 academic and athletic year. 

Dye was promoted to a full-time role after previously serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Valpo for the last two years. She works with the Valpo women’s soccer and track & field programs.

Dye graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training in May 2019. She also studied kinesiology/fitness development with an emphasis on strength & conditioning. Dye went on to earn her master’s degree in sports administration from Valpo in May 2021.  

The owner of multiple athletic training certifications, Dye gained experience as an athletic training student at Coe College from 2016-2019 while also garnering advanced clinical experience and interning at the Loras All-Sports Camp in Dubuque, Iowa.
