Louis Weinberg joined the Valpo Athletics staff in February 2022 as Assistant Director of Athletics for Event Management.

A December 2021 Central Michigan University graduate with a degree in sport management and a minor in event management, Weinberg gained experience while at CMU by serving as an event supervisor for Chippewa Athletics. He led and trained teams consisting of student staff and volunteers while supervising Division-I athletic events, concerts and special events.

Weinberg also worked in guest experiences for Olympia Entertainment from April 2018 to January 2022. He provided detailed information to guests about the facilities along with information regarding Detroit Pistons games, Detroit Red Wings games and upcoming events.

In addition, Weinberg has worked as an athletic and recreation program intern for Cedar Fair Entertainment Company (2021) and as part of the event staff for Central Michigan University Recreation (2019). He was a parking attendant for Palace Sports & Entertainment from May 2016 to April 2018, setting up and tearing down parking lot equipment at The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Hall.
