Lodden Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

Outfielder Nolan Lodden (West Des Moines, Iowa/West Des Moines Valley [Heartland CC]) was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team for District V Friday. The Academic All-District honor now makes Lodden eligible for Academic All-American selection.

The senior carries a 3.94 grade-point average as an electrical engineering major. On the field, Lodden boasts a team-high .353 batting average and has reached base in 31 consecutive games entering this weekend.

To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America recognition, student-athletes must hold at least sophomore status, own a minimum grade-point average of 3.30, and be either a starter or key reserve.  District V consists of schools in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.
