Fall 2021: Named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team... Played in all 11 games and finished the season with 56 tackles including 36 solos... Had five tackles for loss including two sacks while also notching three pass breakups... Had nine or more tackles on three occasions including a season-high 10 on Sept. 11 at North Dakota State.
Spring 2021: Earned Academic All-PFL Second Team honors and was named the team’s Outstanding Hitter Award recipient… Ranked third on the team with 28 tackles and second on the squad with 19 solo stops… Had one tackle for loss and one interception… Had six tackles on March 20 vs. Drake before notching a season-high seven tackles on March 27 vs. Butler… Grabbed an interception in the April 17 season finale vs. San Diego… Member of PFL Academic Honor Roll… Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors.
2019: Played in all 12 games for Valpo… Had 57 tackles, including 31 solos and 5.0 TFL while also recovering a fumble and breaking up seven passes… Racked up eight tackles in Week 1 at Eastern Kentucky, second on the team… Had his first career double-figure tackle game with a season-high 10 on Nov. 2 at Davidson… Also recovered a fumble in the game against the Wildcats… Member of PFL Honor Roll.
2018: Saw action in nine games and had eight tackles while notching one interception during his freshman campaign… Had his first career tackle in his debut on Sept. 15 at Youngstown State… Had a season-high two tackles on two occasions – Oct. 6 at Dayton and Nov. 17 at Stetson… Also made his first career interception in the Nov. 17 season finale against the Hatters. It was a one-handed pick on a deflected pass to the right sideline… Member of the PFL Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Three-time first-team all-conference selection… Three-time all-Thumb area… First-team all-state MHSFCA… 2017 state semifinalist… Played four years of varsity baseball and also competed in basketball… Was honored as academic all-state three times in football, twice in basketball and three times in baseball… Member of National Honor Society… Bounced back after lacerating his kidney as a sophomore.
