The Missouri Valley Conference has postponed the Illinois State-Valparaiso men’s basketball series (Jan. 2-3) due to positive COVID-19 test results among Valpo’s team personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff. The conference will announce make-up dates for the games at a later date.

Valpo is now scheduled to open MVC play on Jan. 9-10 vs. Missouri State at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

The health and safety of everyone involved remains paramount, and Valpo Athletics will continue to follow national, state, local and University COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.
