Valparaiso University's Adam Piaskowy (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee H.S.) has been named to the All Mid-Continent Conference Second Team following the league championships held last Saturday in Rochester, Mich.

The Crusaders' senior finished in 12th place on Saturday, running in his final conference appearance. He turned in an eight-kilometer time of 27:30.2.

Piaskowy is Valpo's first All-Conference selection since Aaron Crague earned First Team honors in 2001.
