Webb Earns Second HL Golfer of the Week Honor
Peter Webb earned his second weekly award from the league office.

Valparaiso freshman Peter Webb (Madison, Wis./James Madison Memorial) earned his second Golfer of the Week honor of his young career from the Horizon League office after matching the Valparaiso program record for single-round score at the Bash at the Beach earlier this week.

Webb opened the tournament, held at the The Surf Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C, with rounds of 75 and 74 on the first day of action. But it was over the final 18 holes that he stood out, posting the lowest final-round score in the 96-golfer field with a four-under-par round of 67. The 67 matched the program record for single-round score originally set by Austin Gaugert and tied by Webb earlier this season, while the score in relation to par (-4) tied the second-best round in relation to par in program history.

Webb and the rest of the Crusaders return to the links on Friday, March 28 as the Crusaders travel to Macomb, Ill. to compete in Western Illinois' Beu Mossatto Invitational.
