Joe Venagus (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North H.S.) and Jay Adams (Detroit, Mich./Andover H.S.) both concluded play on Sunday at the Ball State Fall Invitational.

Venagus downed Matt McClure of Drake 6-4, 6-4 and Ian Kawas of Marquette to advance to the semifinals of the consolation draw in the B Flight. The freshman then fell to Justin Kates of Western Michigan 6-1, 7-5.

Adams fell 6-3, 6-4 to Alex Roby of Bradley in the semifinals of the D Flight.

Valparaiso's men's tennis team will return to action on Friday afternoon when the Brown and Gold welcome Wisconsin-Green Bay to Brown Courts for a dual match. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
