The Valpo men's tennis team released its fall schedule on Wednesday morning.

The Crusaders open their fall slate at home, hosting the Valpo Fall Invitational Sept. 18-19 at the Valpo Tennis Complex. Butler, Chicago State, Cleveland State, DePaul, and Eastern Illinois are all expected to compete. Head coach Jim Daugherty will take a handful of players to Wisconsin that same weekend for the Milwaukee Classic hosted by Marquette University.

Valpo will again participate in the Vredevelt Invite held in Kalamazoo, Michigan the weekend of Sept. 25-26. 

Juniors Jeffrey Schorsch (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg), Charlie Emhardt (Carmel, Ind./Carmel), Dave Bacalla (Skokie, Ill./Niles North), Kyle Dunn (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac), sophomore Garrett Gardner (Poland, Ohio/Poland), and freshman Chad Kissell (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) are slated to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Tournament held in Tulsa, Oklahoma from Oct. 2-Oct. 8.

The Crusaders will host their first indoor tournament - the Crusader Indoor Invitational - October 16-18 at the Courts of NWI.

The Brown and Gold's fall action concludes Oct. 22-25 with both the ITA Midwest Regionals in Notre Dame and the Purdue Invite in West Lafayette.
