Valparaiso University's Aaron Crague (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central H.S.) has been named to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District V Team for track and field and cross country.

Crague is a graduate student in education and carried a 3.67 grade point average as an undergraduate at Valpo.

He is a two-time All Mid-Continent Conference selection for the Crusaders and was the 2003 Mid-Con 5,000m champion. This weekend he will be competing at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

Crague holds three indoor and three outdoor school records for the Crusaders and has been named to the Mid-Con All-Academic Team the past three seasons.
