The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s track and field teams have announced the indoor portion of their schedule. The slate includes three trips to nearby Notre Dame and only one meet outside of the state of Indiana. The indoor season concludes with the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships in Cedar Falls, Iowa in late February.

The Blue & Gold Invitational kicks off the season on Friday, Dec. 1 as the Crusaders travel to Notre Dame. They will take some time away from competition over the holidays before hitting the road again, this time to Allendale, Mich. Valpo will participate in the Bob Eubanks Open, hosted by Grand Valley State, on Friday, Jan. 12. The following weekend, the Crusaders travel to the Fort Wayne Duals on Saturday, Jan. 20. A two-day event in Bloomington will close out the first month of the new year for the team as Valpo competes in the Indiana University Relays on Jan. 26-27.

Valpo will begin competition in February with another visit to Notre Dame on Feb. 2-3 for the Meyo Invitational. The Crusaders make their way back to Indiana to participate in the Hoosier Hills on Friday, Feb. 9. The team will have a week off before making one final trip to South Bend on Saturday, Feb. 17 for the Alex Wilson Invitational.

The Crusaders finish off the indoor season at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships, hosted by UNI in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Feb. 24-25.

The outdoor schedule will be unveiled at a later date.
