The Valparaiso University track & field program has announced its indoor schedule for the 2021-2022 campaign, a slate that gets underway on Friday, Dec. 3 at the Blue & Gold Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
The Beacons will be represented in eight total indoor meets this winter, including the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships, which will be co-hosted by Valpo and Loyola on Feb. 27-28 in Chicago.
The team’s docket also features a pair of visits to Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich., where Valpo will partake in the Bob Eubanks Open (Jan. 15) and Bill Clinger Classic (Jan. 28). Those meets will be sandwiched around a trip to Fort Wayne for the Mastodon Invitational, which is scheduled for Jan. 22.
The Feb. 4-5 weekend will see select student-athletes head back to Notre Dame to participate in the Meyo Invitational, while the remainder of the team will make its way to the Windy City Rumble, hosted by the University of Chicago. The final tune-up prior to the indoor championships will occur on Feb. 19 as head coach Ryan Moore’s group heads to Terre Haute for the ISU Open.
