Ignacio Veloz Bonilla (San Juan, P.R. / American Military Academy) represented the Valparaiso University track & field team at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday in Raleigh, N.C. to open up the outdoor campaign.

He posted a time of 3:52.99 in the 1,500, cracking the program’s all-time top 5 outdoors in that event. He outdid his previous PR of 3:55.71. His new time ranks fourth in program history.
