Earlier this week, the Missouri Valley Conference recognized men’s track & field and cross country senior William Neupert (Beloit, Wis. / Turner) with a State Farm Good Neighbor Award for the winter season.

In order to be eligible for the award, the student-athlete must be in good academic standing, must demonstrate good citizenship through good sportsmanship and significant community service, and must participate in a sport during the season of recognition.

A member of the engineering dean’s list, Neupert has earned the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and MVC Academic Honor Roll for his prowess in the classroom. He also owns Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors from each of the last two years.

Neupert is heavily involved in Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as men’s cross country representative, Valparaiso University MVC SAAC representative and D1 SAAC representative for the Missouri Valley Conference. He is also involved in Wisconsin Leadership Seminars (WILS).
