2022 (Track & Field): Had the team’s top mark of the season in the outdoor 10,000 at 32:21.23 at the MVC Outdoor Championships... During the indoor season, achieved personal bests in the 3,000 (8:59.87, Windy City Rumble) and the mile (4:27.12, ISU Open)... In outdoor competition, set PRs in the 5,000 (15:28.67, Illini Classic) and 1,500 (4:10.19, Valpo Invite).

2021 (Cross Country): Finished the 6K in 19:50.9 at the season-opening Valparaiso Winrow Open on Sept. 3... Turned in a 26:43.7 in the 8K at the Illinois State Invite on Sept. 17... Clocked a 27:38.1 in the Joe Piane – Notre Dame Invitational’s five-mile race on Oct. 1... Completed the 8K in 27:03.6 on Oct. 15 at the Bradley Pink Classic... Finished the 8K in 27:38.1 at the MVC Championship on Oct. 29... Closed the season with a 35:12 in the 10K at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 12.

2020 (Track): Appeared in three meets for Valpo during his junior campaign, recording his season-best 800-meter run on Jan. 17 at the Bill Clinger Classic hosted by GVSU with a time of 2:08.83… Also ran his season’s fastest mile on Jan. 17 with a time of 4:37.48… Recorded his year’s best 3000 time on Feb. 15 at GVSU Big Meet at 9:34.31… Recorded a mile time of 4:46.79 at the MVC Indoor Championships, hosted by UNI on Feb. 29.

2019 (Cross Country): Recorded personal records five times during his junior season… Ran his best-ever 6K on Sept. 6 at Valpo’s Crusader Open with a time of 20:14.9… Ran a 26:52.57 in the five-Mile at Notre Dame’s Joe Piane Invite on Oct. 4… Recorded his career-best 8K time at Bradley’s Pink Classic on Oct. 18 with a mark of 26:35.3… Ran the 8K at the MVC Championship — hosted by Valpo on Nov. 2 — in 27:45.1… Recorded a PR in the 10K on Nov. 15 at NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Madison, Wis. with a time of 34:12.4.

2019 (Track): Set a personal mark in the indoor 800-meter run at the Fred Wilt Open on Feb. 15 with a time of 2:04.88… Ran the best mile time of his career at the GVSU Tune-Up on Feb. 15, running it in 4:34.67... Competed in two events for Valpo during the outdoor campaign... Ran a 4:24.52 1,500-meter run April 6 at Gibson Invitational... Recorded his best outdoor time of 2:08.43 in the 800-meter run April 13 at Illinois Twilight.

2018 (Cross Country): Competed in three meets during his sophomore season…Posted his top 8K performance at the Bradley Intercollegiate, completing the circuit in 26:56.1…Was the seventh Valpo runner to cross the finish in the Crusader Open, completing the team’s lone 6K race of the season in 19:54.6.

2018 (Track): Ran his season-best 800 meters in the  Redbird Invite on April 14, recording a time of 2:11…Led the team in the 1500 meter run at the DePaul Invitational on April 21 placing 10^th, clocking in a season best 1500 time of 4:15…Season-best 5000 meter run time came at the Gibson Invite April 6 with a time of 16:40.

2017 (Cross Country): In his rookie campaign, Izewski raced in all six meets for Valpo ... His best performance in the 8K occurred at the Bradley Classic, clipping the finish in 27:21.60.

Prep: Three-year letter winner for the Pirates ... 2016 IHSA state qualifier ... 18th-place team finish at the 2016 IHSA state cross country meet ... 2016 MSL West Division champions ... top-25 finisher in the MSL Varsity all-conference meet in 2016 ... top-25 in the MSL Frosh-Soph all-conference meet in 2013 and 2014 ... three-year letterwinner in track ... broke a school-record in the 4x800m freshman relay that stood for 42 years ... member of National Honor Society and Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society.

Personal: Son to Sandra and Donald Izewski ... Received undergraduate degree in mathematics with minors in engineering and Spanish... Is currently pursuing a master's in analytics and modeling.
