Valparaiso University softball head coach Kate Stake announced the program’s schedule for the upcoming fall season today, a schedule which features a pair of home dates at the Valpo Softball Complex.

The Crusaders will open fall play on Sunday, Sept. 17 at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind. with a pair of games, taking on Butler at noon CT before facing IUPUI immediately thereafter.

Valpo will then spend the next two weekends at home. The Crusaders welcome Grand Valley State to the Valpo Softball Complex on Sunday, Sept. 24 for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Purdue Northwest makes the short trip to Valpo the next Sunday, Oct. 1, for a single game at 1 p.m.

The fall season wraps up for the Crusaders on Saturday, Oct. 7 in Champaign, Ill., where they will take the field against Spoon River College at 10:30 a.m. and Illinois at 12:15 p.m.
