Valparaiso ran its record to 13-0 in the Mid-Continent Conference with a 26-30, 30-25, 30-27, 30-24 win over IUPUI on Saturday evening in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Crusaders rebounded from the game one loss that same them hit (-.020) to finish the night hitting .197.

Jessie Fox (Granger, Ind./Penn H.S.) led the way for the Crusaders hitting .576 with 20 kills and seven blocks. Amy Palash (Winfield, Ill./Saint Francis H.S.) added a double-double with 11 kills and 20 digs, while Jessi Novak (Antigo, Wis./Antigo H.S.) added 12 kills.

Sara Silcox (Michigan City, Ind./Michigan City H.S.) had a match-high 22 digs, while Katie Bova (Milwaukee, Wis./Divine Savior Holy Angels H.S.) dished out 52 assists.

Michelle Sobocinski led IUPUI (14-15, 8-4 Mid-Con) with 18 kills and 14 digs, while Tanna Smith dished out 58 assists and registered 20 digs.

Valparaiso (25-4, 13-0), winners of five straight, has now won 19 of their last 20 matches, with the lone loss coming in five games at Arkansas.

The Crusaders will conclude Mid-Con play next Friday evening with a 6 p.m. CST match against Oakland in Rochester, Mich.
