Pokorny posted 48 assists, 13 digs and seven kills on .353 hitting against Wright State on Friday night, quarterbacking the Valpo offense as it tallied 62 kills and hit at a .249 clip in the four-set win.  The junior then approached a triple-double Saturday in the Crusaders’ comeback effort against Butler, registering 44 assists, 20 digs and nine kills while hitting .400.

On the week, Pokorny hit .378 while averaging 10.22 assists, 3.67 digs and 1.78 kills per set.  For the season, she ranks fourth in the Horizon League in both assists/set (9.82) and hitting percentage (.333).  She is now eligible for voting for ‘The People’s Choice’ on the Horizon League Network, with the poll available on the Horizon League website through Wednesday.  Pokorny and the Crusaders return to action Friday at UIC.
