#3 ANTHONY SCIARRONI 6–0 | G/F | R-Sr. • Played three years of football at Valpo before joining the men’s basketball program as a walk-on this season. • E arned the football team’s Koenig Award for outstanding sportsmanship and character in 2022. • F our-year letter winner in basketball at St. Francis DeSales High School.

#4 SHERMAN WEATHERSPOON IV 6–2 | G | Fr. • Played his senior year at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Maryland after starting his career at DeMatha Catholic High School. • Spent the 2022-2023 season at Golden State Prep in Napa Valley, California. • Son of Sherman Weatherspoon III, who is a Northwest Indiana native and Gary Roosevelt product.

#5 OLA AJIBOYE 6–7 | F | So. • Played in 30 of 31 games as a true freshman at Central Michigan University during the 2022-2023 season, making 14 starts for the Chippewas. • Converted 44.1 percent (30-68) of his field-goal attempts, grabbed 103 rebounds (47 offensive), dished out 18 assists, and finished with 20 steals, good for third on the team while at Central Michigan University last season. • Attended Bosco Institute in Crown Point, Indiana.


#6 DARIUS DEAVEIRO 6–0 | G | Jr. • Played in 25 games at Valpo during the 2022-2023 season. • Had 2.7 assists per game, ranking 14th in the Missouri Valley Conference in that category. • Ranked fifth in the league in assist to turnover ratio at 1.89.

#7 JAHARI WILLIAMSON 6–1 | G | Fr. • Earned a spot on Canada’s U19 World Cup Team in Summer 2023, averaging 5.3 points per game and going 10-of-12 (83.3 percent) from the free-throw line for Team Canada. • During the summer of 2022, was named to Team Ontario for the U18 2022 Canada Games, where he posted 16 points in the championship to help his team top British Columbia 81-70. • As a senior, led his team to an Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association championship.

#10 LUCAS SCROGGINS 6–9 | F | Fr. • Spent the 2022-2023 season at Bosco Institute in Crown Point after graduating from Hylton High School in Virginia in 2022. • Averaged 15.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game during his senior year of high school before averaging 12.6 and 8.0 boards during his prep year at Bosco.


#13 COOPER SCHWIEGER 6–9 | F | Fr. • Averaged 11.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 2022-2023 at Link Year Prep in Branson, Missouri after graduating from Blue Valley Southwest High School. • Has a twin brother, Carson, who plays at Wright State University.

#19 ISAIAH STAFFORD 6–2 | G | Jr. • Helped John. A Logan College to the junior college national title and a 33-2 mark during his lone junior college season in 2022-2023. • Averaged 12.5 points per game and shot 50.6 percent from the floor including 45.7 percent from 3 last season at John A. Logan College. • Started his collegiate career by playing in 23 games and 13 starts for University of Southern Indiana in 2021-2022.

#21 KASPAR SEPP 6–7 | F | Fr. • Spent the 2022-2023 season at Fairmont Preparatory Academy. • Played for the Estonia national team during the 2023 summer. • Helped Estonia beat Finland to earn a promotion to the “A” division during the summer of 2022.

#34 LUAL MANYANG 6–10 | C | R-Fr. • Spent the 2022-2023 season at Hofstra University, where he suffered a season-ending injury prior to the start of the season and received a medical redshirt. • Attended Blair Academy in New Jersey, where he averaged 10 points per game as a senior in 2021-2022. • Was listed by 247Sports as the 17th best center and 142nd best overall player in the class of 2022.

#35 LUKE CARROLL 6–6 | G/F | So. • Joined Valpo’s program as a walk-on prior to the 2023-2024 season. • Played in the first 12 games of the 2022-2023 season at Lake Land College before suffering a seasonending injury. • Averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds as a senior in high school at Hamilton Heights.

Smith University. • A Southern Confernece All-Freshman Team selection while playing at Mercer University as a rookie in 2019-2020. • Helped Mercer University claim the Southern Conference Tournament championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament as a sophomore in 2020-2021.
