Crusaders Welcome Scheipe to Bowling Squad
Valparaiso bowling head coach Shon Washington announced today that Charlotte “Charlie” Scheipe has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Crusader program as a freshman for the 2010-2011 campaign.

Anthony Steps Down As Head Coach; Washington Promoted
Valparaiso director of athletics Mark LaBarbera announced today that Crusader bowling head coach Stephen Anthony has stepped down from his coaching position to focus on his administrative role within the athletic department as associate director of athletics for business services. LaBarbera also announced that Shon Washington, who served as an assistant coach for the inaugural season of the bowling program, will be the program's new head coach.

#11 Valparaiso went a perfect 4-0 in action Sunday on the final day of competition at the Shrewsbury Invitational in St. Louis, Mo., leapfrogging into third place in the final standings. Freshman Nicole Hamilton (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) was named to the All-Tournament Team after posting a 192.7 average, good for fourth among all tournament bowlers.
