Valpo Bowling will host its lone home tournament of the 2019-20 season this weekend at Lynwood Bowl in Lynwood, Ill., as the three-day Crusader Classic opens up Friday morning.

The tournament features Alabama A&M, Augustana, Aurora, Dominican, Drury, Elmhurst, Kentucky Wesleyan, Lewis, Lincoln, North Central and Spaulding in addition to the hosts.

Friday’s action will begin at 11 a.m. and will consist of five sets of five-game baker matches. Saturday’s five traditional team games will kick off at 9:30 a.m. On Sunday, the tournament concludes with one final traditional team game, followed by two best-of-seven baker matches in bracket play, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

This weekend’s tournament is the third of four straight weekends of competition for Valpo to open the 2019-20 campaign.
