Senior Jessica Richardson (Columbus, Ind./North) has been named the Horizon League Runner of the Week for the third time this year after beating her personal best in the 6K by more than 40 seconds this past weekend at the Bradley Pink Classic.

Richardson earned a seventh-place finish at the race with a time of 21:12.4, her fourth top-ten finish of the year. Her three-peat is only matched by former Crusader Laura Rolf during the 2007 campaign. Richardson has won the award six times over her career at Valpo.

Richardson also won Runner of the Week for setting the second-fastest 5K two weeks ago at Notre Dame and finishing third at the Western Invitational on Sept. 22.

Richardson and the Crusaders return to the course on Nov. 1 when they travel to the Horizon League Championships in Kenosha, Wis. Start time is set for 11:00 am CT.
