2020-21 MVC Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention

2021-22: Did not see tournament action... Earned the Laurel Award, presented to the Valpo graduating senior student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA... Also received Valparaiso University Top of the Class Award, Dean’s Award and Presidential Academic Honors.

2020-21: Golfed in 14 rounds spanning six events… Posted an 89.29 scoring average… Named MVC Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention… Season-low round of 80 came in the final round of the Redbird Invitational in Normal on April 10… Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors, MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and MVC Honor Roll

2019-20: Golfed eight rounds spanning three events during her freshman season… Posted an 85.88 average… Had a season-best 83 in the second round of the Loyola Fall Invitational on Sept. 16, her collegiate debut… Also participated in the MVC Preview (Sept. 24) and Benbow Invitational (March 9-10).

Prep: Four-year letter winner… Qualified for state as an individual during her freshman season before leading her team to the state in each of the next three years… Won the Corn Belt Conference title as a team during her sophomore season while also garnering the individual Corn Belt championship… Led her team to a seventh-place finish in the IHSA Class 1A State Championship and finished seventh individually during her sophomore season… Won the team title in the Central State 8 Conference her junior and senior years, earning individual all-conference honors for her efforts in both seasons… Led her team to Top 10 finishes in the IHSA Class 2A state championship her junior and senior year… Also competed on the varsity dance team her freshman and sophomore years, placing in the Top 25 both years in the IHSA Class 1A State championship… Maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA, was a member of the Pioneer Chapter of the National Honor Society and was recognized as an Illinois state scholar.

Personal: Daughter of Don and Tanya Murphy... Only child but considers her dogs Libby and Bogey her siblings... Loves iced coffee and coffee in general... Likes to play with her dogs, bake, watch Netflix and take naps... Majoring in health science through the PA program... Born on Jan. 30.
