Valparaiso University’s Brooke Henderson (Westlake, Ohio/Westlake H.S.) and Janine Lytle (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster H.S.) have both been named Second Team All-Horizon League selections as the conference has announced its postseason honors.

Henderson, a junior midfielder, started 17 matches for the Brown and Gold, scoring one goal and adding two assists.  Her 31 shot attempts were second most on the team.  In three seasons with the Crusaders, Henderson has nine total points on three goals and three assists.

Lytle, a sophomore defender, started all 18 contests for Valpo this season.  She scored her first two collegiate goals, including a match-winner against IUPUI, in 2010 and now has six points for her career.  Lytle played all but three minutes the entire season.

Henderson and Lytle are the seventh and eighth Crusaders all-time to earn All-Horizon League honors since Valparaiso joined the conference prior to the 2007 campaign.
