Crusader Scholarship Challenge Kicks Off Friday

The Crusader Scholarship Challenge starts THIS FRIDAY with the women's soccer's regular season opener versus Belmont at Brown Field at 7:30 p.m. Earn 1,250 home opener bonus points Friday when Valpo plays host to the Bruins. Fans can also receive 300 points via the weekly online challenge now available here.

Stay tuned to valpoathletics.com as we set out to find – and handsomely reward – our most loyal and passionate athletic fans.

* One academic year of tuition completely FREE ($33,680 value),

* One academic year of free housing ($6,200 value), or

* One academic year of free meals ($3,980 value).

Participation is easy. First, become eligible when you register at ValpoRewards.com. Second, attend as many Valpo Home sporting events as possible. A check-in code will be provided at each home event.  Redeem the code at ValpoRewards.com to earn your points. If you’re unable to attend a game or match, you can earn the lost points through Valpo’s weekly online challenges. (More points are earned by attending gameday, so attendance will be important!) Other events, such as bus trips to road games and alumni events, will allow participants to earn DOUBLE points.

Not a student at Valparaiso University? You are still encouraged to participate. Prize winners can designate their winnings to another if they choose. Current college seniors can even apply their prize toward graduate school in 2015-2016. The Crusader Scholarship Challenge is open to all fans, students, and alumni; although benefitted Valparaiso University employees are not eligible.

The Crusader Scholarship Challenge runs parallel with regular Valpo Rewards promotions; fans are still eligible to purchase store items and win semester grand prizes. The event runs through the academic year, wrapping up at the end of next April.

It’s time we reward you, the fan, for your support of the Crusaders. Visit ValpoRewards.com today for more details and to register. Go Valpo!
