Lewis defended its home pool on Friday evening, posting a 106-93 victory over Valparaiso's women's swimming and diving team in Romeoville, Ill.
The Crusaders tallied three victories on the evening and finished in the top-two in all events but two in the meet.
Freshman Allison Clark (Shorewood, Wis./Shorewood H.S.) notched a 17-second win in the 1000 freestyle, touching the wall in 11:08.54. Leah Schneider (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead H.S.) also tallied a win on the night, doing so in the 100 free with a time of 55.94 seconds.
Britt Nelson (Cortland, N.Y./Homer H.S.) recorded the Crusaders final individual victory of the night. The sophomore won the 500 free by five seconds with a time of 5:29.71.
Valparaiso (1-1) will return to the pool on Saturday when the Crusaders travel to Wisconsin-Green Bay for a 2 p.m. meet with the Phoenix.
