Castro Diaz Leads Crusaders at Day Three of HL Championships
The Valparaiso men’s and women’s swimming teams closed out day number three at Oakland University for the 2016 Horizon League Championships Friday evening. The day’s events consisted of the men’s and women’s 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breaststroke, 100 back and 400 medley relay.

Crusader Swim Teams Continue Horizon League Championships Thursday
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams continued Thursday with day two of the 2016 Horizon League Championships at Oakland University. Day two of the championship meet included the men’s and women’s 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 200 free relay.

Crusaders Split Senior Day Meet With Eastern Illinois
The Valparaiso men’s and women’s swimming teams celebrated their senior class with their Senior Day meet Saturday afternoon at the ARC, splitting the meet with Eastern Illinois. The Crusader men earned a 136-126 victory, while the EIU women prevailed 160-87.

Valpo Swimmers Back in Action at Green Bay
Following the holiday break, the Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams returned to competition Friday evening, traveling to take on Horizon League foe Green Bay. The Crusaders would fall to the Phoenix by final scores of 141-95 on the men’s side and 115-83 on the women’s side.

Crusaders Close Out Calvin Winter Invitational
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams concluded their three-day trip to Grand Rapids, Mich. at the Calvin Winter Invitational on Saturday evening, posting 20 top-10 times in program history over the last two days, including three school records.

Crusaders Earn Number of Program Top-Ten Times on Day One at Calvin
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams traveled to Grand Rapids, Mich. on Thursday to kick off the three-day Calvin Winter Invitational. The two teams combined to set six top-ten times in school history within just four total events on the opening day of action.

Valpo Women’s Team Swims to Victory
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams traveled to Terre Haute, Ind. to take place in a dual meet against the Engineers of Rose-Hulman Thursday evening. Valpo’s women’s team swam to a head-to-head victory 137-134, while the men’s team fell 192-99.

Crusader Swimming Teams Take on Saginaw Valley State
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams continued their 2015-16 season Saturday afternoon, traveling up north to University Center, Mich. for a dual meet with Saginaw Valley State University. The Crusader men posted four marks among the top-10 in Valpo history during the meet.

Valpo Swimming Continues Campaign at EIU
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming squads continued their 2015-16 seasons Saturday evening at Eastern Illinois. EIU downed the Crusaders on both sides, as the Valpo men fell 120-85 and the women dropped a 125-69 decision.

Crusader Swim Teams Compete at Western Illinois
The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams traveled to Macomb, Ill. on Friday to take on Western Illinois in their first of two meets this weekend. Western Illinois came out on top on both sides, winning the men’s meet, 152-74, and the women’s meet, 138-69.

The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming teams announced their schedule for the 2015-16 season on Thursday. The schedule features three home meets, including the season opener on Saturday, October 3rd as the Crusaders take on Lewis at 1 p.m. at the ARC.

Valpo Swimming to Hold Walk-on Tryouts
