2016-17: Paige made a big splash for Valpo as a newcomer. She broke the school record in the 100-back, setting the new standard at 58.68. She also had the best time on the team for the season in the 100-free, clocking in at 54.37. Her time in the 200-free was second-best among her teammates at 2:00.77, along with a 50-free time of 25.13. She was a huge contributor to the relays, as well. At the Horizon League Championships, Paige swam a leg on each one. As the anchor on the 200-medley relay, she helped move it into third-fastest all-time, with an overall time of 1:47.10. She swam the third leg in the 200-free relay, which is fourth-best in history, going 1:38.20. Paige anchored the 400-medley relay as well, pushing it into fifth-place all-time with a time of 4:01.50. Recording a combined time of 3:37.20, the 400-free relay is now sixth-best in the record books with Paige leading off. And the 800-free relay, with Paige going first, wound up eighth-best in Valpo history with a time of 7:56.32.
