Modesto Victory Highlights Improved Showing for Women’s Tennis
Meg Modesto picked up a straight-set win at No. 2 singles on Sunday.

The Valparaiso University women’s tennis team made positive strides from Saturday to Sunday, putting together an improved showing in a 6-1 loss to Missouri Valley Conference foe Illinois State at Match Point Tennis Club in Griffith. The highlight of the day was the play of Meg Modesto (Chesterton, Ind. / Chesterton), who registered a victory at No. 2 singles.

How It Happened
