Laura Rolf (Rochester, Mich./Lutheran Northwest) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Women's Athlete of the Month for March after her All-American performance in the mile run at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Rolf, the only Mid-Con women's athlete to compete at the national meet, finished fifth in her preliminary heat with a time of 4:45.89, the ninth-fastest time among the 16 runners in the preliminaries. In the finals, the sophomore came home tenth, completing the race in 4:49.95. For her tenth-place finish, Rolf was awarded All-American honors, becoming only the second Crusader in program history to earn the honors.
