Jessica Richardson (Columbus, Ind./North) and Sarah Drozdowski (Roselle, Ill./Lake Park) each recorded a pair of top-10 finishes for the Valparaiso women’s track team at the Bob Eubanks Open held at Grand Valley State on Friday.

Richardson took sixth in the one-mile run with a time of 5:17.62. Nicole Zehel (Wixom, Mich./Lutheran Westland) finish fifth in 5:16.92.

Richardson also finished seventh in the 3000-meter run in a time of 10:37.57.

Drozdowski’s mark of 42’6.25” in the shot put was good enough for fifth place, and her throw of 53’9.75” in the weight throw put her in a tie for seventh place.

Kelli Wosick (Mount Prospect, Ill./Saint Viator) took 10^th in the 400-meter dash, finishing with a time of 1:01.11.

Ann Chapman (Washington, Ill./Washington Community) finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 30’8.25”.

The Crusaders return to Allendale, Mich. on Friday, January 18 to compete in the Mike Lints Alumni Open.
