2018 (Cross Country): Competed in one meet for Valparaiso during the 2018 season…Finished ninth on the team at the Greater Louisville Classic, completing the 5K circuit in 22:31.3.

2018 (Track): On Jan. 12 at the Bob Eubanks Open, recorded a distance of 35-06, which was the team’s third-best indoor distance… Earned the team’s best distance in the weight throw with 51-1 on Feb. 24 at the MVC Indoor Championships… With a team best in the hammer throw on April 7 at the Gibson Invite, threw for a distance of 143-7.25. On May 13 at the MVC Championships, she threw for a distance of 115-6.61 in Discus.

2017 (Cross Country): Ran in all six meets for the Crusaders in her second year of competition ... Earned a second-place nod at the Bradley Classic (23:43.60) ... Finished third at the NCAA Regionals, holding a time of 24:37.40 ... Had a fourth-place mark at the MVC Championships (20:15.34).

2017 (Track): Ranked second on the team in the indoor 800m run with a 2:24.31 on Feb. 26 ... Also second on the squad in the 1 mile run with a 5:32.27 on Feb. 10 ... Member of the distance medley relay team that finished in 13:39.49 on Feb. 25 ... Led the team in the outdoor 800m run with a season-best time of 2:21.15 ... Ranked second on the Crusaders in the outdoor 1,500m run, with her PR of 4:52.66 coming on April 15. 

2016 (Cross Country): Finished third for Valpo at the NCAA Regional meet (24:37.2) ... had a time of 25:46.7 at the Horizon League Championships.

Prep: A four-year letter winner for the Raiders ... four-time all-conference honoree ... helped team to regional titles in 2015 and 2016 ... four-time all-conference in track as well ... USA Track and Field 2014 and 2015 national qualifier in the 800m run ... member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Shannon and Derek Mitchell ... major is Chinese and Japanese studies.
