Valparaiso men’s basketball head coach Bryce Drew announced today that 7-0 center Moussa Gueye (Thies, Senegal/Alabama/Lake Land [Ill.] College) will join the Crusader program for the 2013-2014 season. Gueye graduated from Alabama this spring and will be immediately eligible at Valpo for his final season of eligibility.

For the second straight season, the Valparaiso softball team is going to the NCAA Tournament. The Crusaders are heading to Ann Arbor, Mich. this weekend for the Ann Arbor Regional of the 2013 NCAA Tournament, starting tournament play against host #7/8 Michigan Friday evening. #18/22 California and Central Michigan are the other two teams in the regional. Every game of the regional will be broadcast live online at ESPN3.com.

Six student-athletes have confirmed their intention to join the Valparaiso men’s soccer program this fall, head coach Mike Avery announced today, bringing the total number of the 2013 incoming recruiting class to 12. This second group of future Crusaders will join the group of six previously announced recruits in bolstering the Valparaiso roster as they prepare to face one of the strongest schedules in program history in the 2013 soccer season.
