Valparaiso University women's soccer coach Stephen Anthony has announced his 2003 schedule. The Crusaders are coming off a second place finish in the Mid-Continent Conference last season.

The Crusaders will open their schedule on August 29 at Loyola (Ill.) and will host Western Michigan two days later on August 31 in their home opener at Eastgate Field. The Brown and Gold's home slate also includes a visit from Eastern Illinois, an NCAA Tournament participant last season.

Valpo will open Mid-Continent Conference play on October 2 at Southern Utah, with their Mid-Con home opener set for October 10 against Oakland, the defending conference tournament champion. Valpo will travel to defending Mid-Con regular season champion Oral Roberts on October 25 and will conclude the regular season at home on November 2 against Centenary, the newest member of the conference.

The Mid-Con Tournament will take place November 7-9 in Tulsa, Okla. as Oral Roberts will serve as the host. The top four teams in the conference standings will qualify, with the semifinals taking place on Friday and the championship set for Sunday.
