Valpo women’s soccer head coach John Marovich announced today his program’s schedule for the upcoming spring 2021 campaign, a schedule which features a trio of nonconference matches before the eight-match MVC slate.

Valpo is scheduled to open the season on Wednesday, Feb. 10 as it hosts Chicago State at the Sparta Dome in Crown Point. The Brown and Gold then take on UNI in a nonconference matchup in Rockford, Ill. on Feb. 17, and close out the nonconference schedule at the Sparta Dome on Monday, Feb. 22 versus DePaul.

The Missouri Valley Conference slate kicks off for Valpo on the road against MVC newcomer Southern Illinois on Sunday, Feb. 28. The Salukis are in their second season of intercollegiate competition and their first year of playing a Valley schedule. Valpo will also play road MVC contests at Evansville (March 24), UNI (March 28) and Illinois State (April 7).

Valpo is currently scheduled to play all four of its MVC home games at Brown Field, starting with a meeting with Indiana State on Tuesday, March 9. The Brown and Gold will also host Loyola (March 13), Drake (March 19) and Missouri State (April 2) over the course of the conference campaign.

The MVC Tournament kicks off April 10-11 and culminates with the championship match on Saturday, April 17. All MVC Tournament matches will be played at the home field of the higher seed. The winner of the MVC Tournament receives the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
