Blair Minton joined Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment in July 2022 as the General Manager for Valpo Athletics Sponsorships after previously working as a sponsorship sales, activation and corporate/group event sales executive with the Gastonia Honey Hunters professional baseball team in Gastonia, N.C.

Minton previously served as the Director of Business Development at Linden Thomas & Company (2019-2020), the Director of Business Development for National Financial Partners (2016-2019), an independent sales representative for Zanfari, Dakota Grizzly (2015-2016), a senior financial advisor at Linden Thomas & Company (2010-2015) and a public relations manager at Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (2006-2009).

Minton graduated from Appalachian State University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing/management and went on to earn a master’s in sport management from Western Carolina University in 2021.
