The Valpo men’s and women’s swimming teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA), as announced by the organization this week.

The women’s team earned the accolade, based on the fall 2020 semester, for the fifth consecutive semester. Meanwhile, the men’s squad was named a Scholar All-America Team for the fourth straight semester

The CSCAA selected teams from over 450 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams for the fall 2020 semester. The teams were selected by the CSCAA’s Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their fall grade point averages. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
