2022-23: Started 31 of the team’s 32 games... Finished third on the team in scoring at 10.7 points per game... Averaged 4.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 74.2 percent at the free-throw line and 33.3 percent from 3-point territory... Averaged 30.0 minutes per game... Had 15 double-figure scoring outputs including four games with 20+ points... Earned MVC Newcomer of the Week status on Jan. 23 after a season-high 26 points including 9-of-11 shooting and 6-of-8 from 3-point range on Jan. 21 at Illinois State... Had another big game against the Redbirds on Feb. 11 at the ARC, tossing in 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting, 4-of-7 from 3 and 5-of-5 at the foul line. He had 10 rebounds in that contest for his first double-double of the season... Tied a season high on the glass the next time out with 10 boards on Feb. 14 vs. Southern Illinois.

2021-22 (Cedarville): Earned All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) honors for the third straight season... Averaged 12.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 28 contests (24 starts) with the Yellow Jackets... Knocked down a team-high 59 3-point field goals...  Finished with 1,288 points over four seasons at Cedarville... Had a season-high 27 points on Feb. 12 vs. Wilberforce... Scored in double figures on 19 occasions. 

2020-21 (Cedarville): All-NCCAA Midwest Region Second Team and All-G-MAC Second Team... Started all 20 games in which he played and ranked second on the team in scoring at 13.0 points per game... Topped the squad with 39 made 3-point field goals... Pumped in a season-best 23 points at Ohio Dominican... Netted 20 points in a 64-55 win at Kentucky Wesleyan in the first round of the G-MAC Tournament... Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds four times.

2019-20 (Cedarville): Voted to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Second Team and All-G-MAC Second Team... Played in 28 games and made 24 starts... Ranked second on the team in scoring (13.1), three-point percentage (.387), and free throw percentage (.886)... Scored in double figures 16 times including a career-high 30 to rally his team from a 20-point deficit in an 87-84 overtime win at Lynn... Opened the season with 30 points during a triple overtime setback to Quincy... Poured in 25 points vs. Tiffin and 24 more against Lake Erie during G-MAC victories... Pulled down a season-high eight rebounds three times (Findlay, Indianapolis, Lake Erie)... Had a game-high 23 points to go along with seven rebounds on Oct. 19, 2019 as Valpo hosted Cedarville in an exhibition game.

2018-19 (Cedarville): Played in 31 games and made five starts while ranking fifth on the team in scoring and rebounding at 9.8 ppg and 4.1 rpg... Pumped in a career-high 24 points with nine rebounds in 80-77 G-MAC semifinal setback at No. 1 seed and NABC Division II No. 6 Findlay... Scored in double figures 15 times including 21 at Alderson Broaddus and 19 vs. Davis & Elkins... Grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds in 64-61 last-second loss at NABC Division II No. 10 Florida Southern.

2017-18 (Cedarville): Sat out the season as a redshirt

Prep: Was homeschooled during his prep tenure... Three-year member of the Miami Valley Saints Homeschool Basketball team in Dayton... Spent the previous two seasons with the Albuquerque Homeschool Athletic Association in New Mexico... Averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds per game in his final season with the Miami Valley Saints... Contributed two assists, two steals and one blocked shot per contest while earning co-MVP honors... Helped lead his team to the 2017 National Christian Homeschool Division II Large Program Championship and was named to the All-Tournament Team... Honored as the Most Outstanding Player at the Prospects on the Rize 2016 Camp... MVP at the 2016 Indiana vs Ohio All-Star Game... Selected to multiple all-tournament teams plus earned all-conference and all-region recognition... Graduated with academic honors.

Personal: Graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in sport business management... Pursuing a master’s in sport administration at Valpo... Son of Tarus and Leslie Shaw... Has four younger brothers and a younger sister... Spent five years at Cedarville as roommates with Conner TenHove, a Valparaiso, Ind. native... Married his wife Liana English on Aug. 20, 2022. They met at Cedarville, where she was a member of the women's tennis team.
