2021-22: Saw action in four games, totaling 13 minutes... Scored his first collegiate point on Nov. 27, making a free-throw vs. Trinity Christian... Made his first collegiate basket on Dec. 7 vs. East West... Also played on Dec. 22 vs. William & Mary and March 3 in the MVC Tournament opener vs. Evansville.

2020-21: Saw action in six games, playing a season-high seven minutes on Dec. 6 vs. Judson… Pulled down a career-best four rebounds in that game against the Eagles… Also received run vs. SIUE (Dec. 9), vs. Purdue Northwest (Dec. 17), vs. Bradley (Feb. 10), at UNI (Feb. 13) and vs. Indiana State (Feb. 27).

2019-20: Joined the program as a walk-on for the 2019-20 season... Made his collegiate debut on Nov. 27 vs. Trinity Christian, playing the final four minutes of a win over the Trolls...  Grabbed his first career rebound in a Dec. 8 triumph over Central Michigan… Appeared in five games – Nov. 27 vs. Trinity Christian, Dec. 8 vs. Central Michigan, Dec. 18 at High Point, Feb. 12 vs. Southern Illinois and Feb. 25 vs. Missouri State – totaling nine minutes of action.

Prep (Athletic): Averaged 12.3 points, 5.0 assists, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.8 blocks per game… Was a four-year varsity starter… Was an all-conference selection as a junior and senior… Led his team to regular-season conference titles as both a junior and senior… Also played baseball and was a four-year starter, hitting .316 while helping his team to three sectional titles and a regional championship… Earned all-conference honors in baseball his junior year... Was a four-year starter and three-year all-conference honoree in volleyball, helping his team to a conference tournament title as a junior… Earned the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award in volleyball as a senior… Played three sports all year around for all four years of high school.

Prep (Academic): Was a four-year member of National Honor Society, a two-year Health Occupation Students of America member, and a three-year Student Council member… Earned academic and technical honors… Was a two-time academic all-conference award recipient… Earned the Top 10 award for his class.

Personal: Majoring in nursing… Wants to become a pediatric nurse and hopes to one day work at Riley Children’s Hospital… Son of Steve and Lisa Pappas and has one older brother, Bryce… Brother was named after Bryce Drew… Father and brother both graduated from Valpo… Mother has worked on campus for 32 years, currently serving as an administrative assistant in the Department of Education.... Favorite pro team is the Chicago Bulls... Love of the game stems from when he picked up a basketball for the first time at age 4... Has always been interested in working with kids. Initially wanted to be a teacher but decided pediatric nursing is the field for him... Grew up attending Valpo games and remembers being a young child who looked up to Valpo basketball players... Is the first boys basketball player in Washington Township High School history to play at the Division-I level... Part of a graduating class of only 80 students at Washington Township.
