Valpo Men Close Season With Win Over Wright State
Alex Lau (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson Senior H.S.) rallied from a set down to post a victory in the deciding point on Sunday morning as Valparaiso wrapped up the 2008 spring season with a 4-3 victory over Wright State in the fifth place match of the Horizon League Championships.

Valpo Men Hit the Courts Friday
As the 2008 spring season begins for the Valparaiso University men’s tennis team, the Crusaders are getting set to take on the Horizon League for the first time. The Crusaders had a solid fall season, and with three newcomers on the squad this season, head coach Jim Daugherty was able to get each one some collegiate experience prior to the championship season.

Head coach Jim Daugherty, in his 23rd year at the helm of the Brown and Gold, looks to replace three players that graduated at the end of last season, all of whom were regulars in the top-five of the Crusader lineup last year.
