2014-15: Increased his win total in singles play for the third consecutive season, collecting 20 wins as a junior to go with a 9-4 mark in doubles action...tallied a 3-1 record in singles play at the Purdue Fall Invitational (Sept. 19-21)...won two of three matches at the Vredevelt Invite in Kalamazoo, Michigan (Sept. 26-28), including a 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Cleveland State's Ali Shabib...claimed triumphs in all four of his matches in the Valparaiso Fall Invitational (Oct. 3-4)...opened the spring with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 comeback victory over IPFW's Connor Andrews on Jan. 30th...embarked on an eight-match winning streak from Feb. 7th to Mar. 9th, five of which came at home...racked up four wins on the team's spring break trip to Orlando...went 4-1 in doubles play at the Purdue Fall Invitational (Sept. 19-21)...teamed up with Lucas Waak to run the table in doubles play at the Valparaiso Fall Invitational (Oct. 3-4).
2013-14: Was victorious in 18 singles matches and five times in doubles play...won his only match at No. 1 singles and went 5-0 when at No. 2....collected victories in four of his first five singles matches to kick off the spring (Indiana Wesleyan, Olivet Nazarene, Marian, Grace College)...enjoyed a five-match winning streak from Mar. 9th-Mar. 22nd...defeated UIC's Carl Hedstrom and Youngstown State's Max Schmerin to tally two wins in Horizon League play.
2012-13: Won 16 singles and 17 doubles matches as a freshman while at No. 3 singles...finished the season second in program history in single season doubles victories behind teammate Michael Baiocchi...his 16 singles victories is tied for 7th-most ever in a season...No. 2 singles champion at the Western Illinois Invitational...No. 3 doubles champion at the Western Illinois Invitational with teammate Michael Baiocchi...finished in second place to teammate Eric Honert at the Valparaiso Invitational.
Prep: A four-year letter winner for the Mary D. Bradford Red Devils...two-time state participant in singles and doubles...two-time team MVP...conference and sectional doubles champion his senior season...ranked Top 5 in Wisconsin, and Top 30 in Midwest...two-time Junior Davis Cup participant for Wisconsin team.
Personal: Michael is the son of Mike and Cathy Savaglio...double major in biology and chemistry.
