She also turned in the second fastest time in school history in the 200 backstroke as well as the third fastest 100 back time all-time.
For her efforts in the classroom, Dangremond earned U.S. Army Horizon League Scholar-Athlete of the Week honors this season as well as being named to the league’s Fall Academic Honor Roll. She has also been named to the school’s Dean’s List.
Krause, a junior nursing and Spanish major, set a new school mark for the Crusaders in the 100 freestyle and was also a member of the school record 200 freestyle and 400 medley relays. She also posted the second fastest 50 free time in school history as well as the third quickest 200 free time ever.
Voted to the Horizon League’s All-Academic Team for the second consecutive year, she has also been on the league’s Fall and Spring Academic Honor Rolls. Krause is also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta honor society.
To be eligible for Academic All-Horizon League Team honors, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher and completed at least one year at the school earning 24 semester hours. Those individuals that are nominated for the honor are then voted upon by the conference’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
