2018-19: Ranked third on the team in the 50 free (22.27) ... posted top times of 49.35 in the 100 free and 1:49.77 in the 200 free ... also saw action in the 100 fly (57.02) and the 200 IM (2:12.82).

2017-18: Saw action mainly in the sprint freestyle events as a sophomore ... ranked fourth on the team in both the 50 free (22.92) and the 100 free (49.09) ... also ranked fifth on the team in the 200 free (1:48.44) ... also competed in the 100 breaststroke.

2016-17: In his first year, Austin was a contributor in several sprint races. The 50-free saw Austin go 23.17, while he went 49.59 in the 100-free. He also went 1:48.36 in the 200-free. In the 100-breast, Austin clocked in a 1:05.44, and he put up a time of 2:05.28 in the 200-IM, which was good for fourth-best for the Crusaders last year. He also anchored the 400-free relay at the Horizon League Championships, helping them go 3:12.44.

Prep: Four-time letter winner for the Trojans…four-time city champion during senior year…won MVP during senior season…school record holder in the 500 free (5:06.53), 200 freestyle relay (1:32.81), 400 freestyle relay (3:24.22) and the 200 medley relay (1:42.81)...Indianapolis student-athlete of the week during junior campaign…most inspirational work ethic award winner junior year…most improved award winner sophomore season…swam for the Lawrence Swim team since he was eight years old…National Honors Society member…Academic All-American award recipient.

Personal: Son of Cathy and Ken Scheer…major is mechanical engineering.
