2009: Saw action in 30 games as a sophomore, making six starts … again specialized mostly as a pinch-runner for the Crusaders … moved into fourth place on Valpo’s all-time chart in stolen bases, swiping 13 bases to give her 30 career steals … had a 100% success rate on the basepaths … scored run against Missouri State Feb. 27 in first appearance of the season … recorded pinch hit March 5 against Holy Cross … stole at least one bases in six out of seven appearances March 9-21 … earned start at designated player March 11 versus Buffalo, going 2-for-2 with one run scored, an RBI and a steal … swiped two bags March 12 against Penn … registered RBI in outfield start in league play against Detroit March 21 … also stole two bases April 22 at Butler … closed year with steals in three of her final four appearances … stole a base and scored a run in HL Championship win over Youngstown State May 8.
2008: Made 40 appearances, including three starts, as a freshman for Valpo ... saw action mostly as a pinch-runner off the bench ... 17 stolen bases tied for the fifth-most in a single season in Valpo softball history ... also ranked fourth in the Horizon League in the category ... debuted with a successful theft at Tulsa February 23 ... scored first career run March 3 against Fairfield ... stole base successfully in both ends of a twinbill March 29 against Detroit ... went 1-for-1 with a walk, an RBI and a steal in just second career start April 9 at IPFW ... also registered hit in nightcap against Mastodons ... stole a base in three straight Horizon League contests April 24-26.
Prep: A three-year letterwinner for the Wolves ... led Eagle River to Alaskan state championship as a junior ... named to All-State team in 2006 ... earned state championship game MVP honors as well ... hit .490 as a junior and .510 as a senior ... earned team’s award for Best Fielding Percentage in 2007 ... ranked fifth among more than 2,500 softball players nationwide in SPARQ testing in 2006 ... also lettered in volleyball and basketball.
