2020 All-MVC (400-meter dash) 

2020: Became Valpo’s top performer in the 60, 200, and 400 during his senior indoor campaign… Authored three top-5 finishes on Jan. 24-25 at Indiana State’s John Gartland Invitational — a third-place finish in the 60-meter dash, a fourth-place showing in the 400-meter dash and he ran lead on the 4x400-meter relay team, which took third place… Ran a career-best time in the 60-meter dash at University of Chicago on Feb. 7 with a time of 7.21…  Also on Feb. 7, came in first in the 400 with a time of 50.37 and finished fourth in the 200 at 23.07… Had another top-5 finish at GVSU Big Meet on Feb. 15 in Allendale, Mich. when he ran a 49.79… Set a career highwater mark in the 200 at Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitation on Feb. 22, running a 22.53 and earning Valpo’s fifth-best time ever in the event… Earned All-Conference honors at the MVC Indoor Championships on March 1 at UNI by virtue of a 48.96 time in the 400-meter dash, good for third place in the meet as well as third-place all-time for Valpo.

2019: Set a personal record in the indoor 200-meter dash with a time of 23:09 at the Blue & Gold Invitational on Nov. 30… Had the team’s second-best time in the indoor 400-meter dash when he ran a personal-best 51.07 on Feb. 15, finishing eighth at the GVSU Tune-up… Was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that turned in the fifth-fastest indoor time in program history, a 3:23.35 at the MVC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23... Ran a 51.67 400-meter dash, his fastest career outdoor time, March 22 at Bill Cornell Spring Classic... Recorded his personal best time in the 200-meter dash (22.80) on April 13 at Illinois Twilight... Was on the team’s top 4x100-meter relay team, which ran 42.90 on May 12 at MVC Outdoor Championships... Also competed in the 400-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay at MVC Outdoor Championships, finishing the former at 52:02.  

Prep: Turned in the second-fastest time in Gavit history in the boys 400-meter run in 2016… Earned varsity letters in both soccer and track and field and was a captain of the soccer team… Graduated high school in only three years after earning a place on the honor roll each year… Inducted into National Honor Society.

Personal: Majoring in computer science with a minor in mathematics… Son of Veda and Antonio Daggett.
