2022: Appeared in 41 games, all starts, and finished the season with 35 hits, 11 runs scored, six doubles, a triple, three home runs and 21 RBIs... Had a season-high three hits on March 29 vs. Purdue Fort Wayne... Homered on March 25 vs. St. Bonaventure and in both games of a doubleheader on April 10 vs. Indiana State, driving in six runs in one day against the Sycamores.
2021: Did not see game action… Member of MVC Academic Honor Roll.
Before Valpo (Athletics): Three-year starting shortstop… Second team all-conference as a sophomore… Unanimous first team all-conference and all-district choice as a junior… Compiled a .382 batting average with 50 hits and 34 RBIs during his junior campaign… Played a key role in helping his team reach the state final four in 2019… Also played football, basketball and bowling during high school… Helped his team to its seventh consecutive 4A football state championship while earning academic all-state and second team all-conference… Played six years for the Iowa Sticks travel team.
Before Valpo (Academics/Extra Curriculars): Received Aquinas Key, Excellence Medal and Academic Letter, three of his school’s most significant academic honors, through all four years of high school… Was listed on the honor roll every semester.
Personal: Son of Jen and Marty Brauch… Has three younger siblings – Owen, Drew and Leah… Enjoys bowling, running and watching Netflix… Has bowled a 239 game.
