2022 MVC Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention

2024: Appeared in 50 games, all starts... Led the team with a .301 batting average... Nailed 12 doubles, one triple and nine home runs... Accrued 27 RBIs and scored 30 times... Reached base at a .402 clip and slugged .538... Stole a team-high 10 bases in 11 attempts... Ranked second on the team in MVC-only batting average at .322... Had 14 extra-base hits including six home runs in 26 conference games, slugging a team-best .611 in those contests while reaching base at a .410 clip... Had a multi-homer game on March 16 at No. 21 Campbell, going deep twice... Belted a home run and made a great catch in his home state of Wisconsin on April 9 at Milwaukee... Ranked No. 4 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays by robbing a grand slam on April 28 at UIC. Also drilled a home run of his own in that game... Had a season-high three hits on four occasions – Feb. 17 at Alabama State, March 30 vs. Bradley, April 21 vs. Missouri State and May 16 vs. No. 20 Indiana State... Earned the “Top of the Class” Award, presented to graduating seniors with a 3.9 or better cumulative GPA... Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors.

2023: Posted a .260 batting average while playing in 40 games and making 37 starts… Homered twice and drove in 15 runs while scoring 22… Reached base a .366 clip and slugged .344… Made a fantastic leaping catch in center field to rob a home run on April 28 at Missouri State… Had a career-high four hits on May 7 vs. SIU… Named MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team… Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors.

2022: Played in 46 games (44 starts) while accruing 10 doubles, four triples, a home run, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored during his sophomore season... Tied for second in the league in triples and also tied for second in the MVC with five sacrifice bunts...  Had a season-high three hits on April 30 at SIU... Crushed his first collegiate home run on May 1 at SIU... Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors... Named MVC Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention at season's end. 

2021: Played in 10 games and made one start… Scored three runs and worked one walk.

Before Valpo (Athletics): Three-time first team all-conference pick in high school (2017, 2018, 2019), Honorable Mention All-State (2019), First Team All-District (2019), Prep Baseball Report Preseason Second Team All-State (2020)… Three-year letter winner in baseball and played basketball until his sophomore year… Travel baseball experience includes TCats Academy (2009-2012) and Stiks Academy (2013-2019)… 2019 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-Region… Played in 2018 Prep Baseball Report Futures Game.

Before Valpo (Academics/Community Service): Member of National Honor Society, Teens for Christ member, ranked 16^th in class, nominated as student achiever by educational staff (2018), Student Rotarian (2020)… Wrote for his high school’s newspaper… Was the Vice President of his senior class.
