All-Observerland Track & Field (Discus)... School Weightlifting Recordholder (1095 lbs)... Also had success in academics and extra-curricular activities, earning the Student of the Month three times, becoming a Michigan Youth Leadership Representative, serving as an American Legion Boys State Representative (elected as mayor), honor roll student, winning the Kroger I Can Make History music contest twice and being published as a poet in the Eber & Wein book "Upon Arrival."
