Valparaiso’s men’s basketball team will be hosting three basketball camps this summer for youths of all ages and skill levels.
From June 24-27, Valpo will be hosting two separate camps. The Valpo Mini Camp will be held from 9:00 a.m.-noon and is intended for children ages 5-7. It will feature daily contests and games and costs $115 per camper.
The Valpo Basketball School runs from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon each day as well and is intended for children ages 8-14. The camp will contain daily lectures and teaching sessions, fundamental stations, 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 game action and daily contests and prizes. It will cost $165 per camper.
The Valpo Basketball Academy will be held from Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 2, and is for youths ages 8-14. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day, and costs $295 per player. The days will include teaching sessions and lectures by Crusader players and coaches, fundamental stations, 5-on-5 games, a 3-on-3 league and daily contests and prizes.

Day Camp Flyer - Elite Camp Flyer - Team Shootout Flyer
The Valparaiso women’s basketball program has announced the dates of three camps which will be held during the summer of 2013 at the Athletics-Recreation Center.
A four-day Day Camp will take place June 10-13 from 9 a.m. until noon for girls entering third through eighth grade. The camp will teach the basic fundamental skills of basketball with a strong emphasis on dribbling, passing, and shooting. The cost of the camp is $90.
On June 18-19, the Crusaders will host its annual overnight Elite Camp. This is a teaching and competition camp for incoming high school students. The camp will be run like a college practice and will be held from 2 p.m. on the 18th until noon on the 19th. The cost of the camp is $100.
A two-day Team Shootout will be held on June 21-22. This camp is designed for high school varsity and junior varsity teams along with their coaches. The cost of the event is $350 to participate on one day and $500 to participate both days.

The Valparaiso University football program will be holding a one-day Junior and Senior Camp on Sunday, June 16 at Brown Field from noon until 4 p.m., hosted by the Crusader coaching staff.
The camp is designed to provide helpful instructional drills that will assist young athletes improve self-confidence in their ability to transfer proper technique to actual game situations.
The Junior and Senior Camp will offer specialized instruction designed to help high school athletes improve their football skills. This camp, for all students entering their junior or senior years in high school, costs $40 for those individuals who pre-register and $50 for walk-ups the day of the camp.

The Valparaiso University women’s soccer team is holding a camp June 17-19 at Brown Field for all age groups.
The VIP High School Camp is for girls 14-18 years of age and offers residential and commuter options. The camp is designed to train individuals in technical and tactical aspects of their game and help players identify those things that they need to work on to play at the next level. Training sessions will be held in the morning along with the evening. The cost of the camp is $275 for commuters and $350 for residential campers.
The Crusaders Youth Skills Camp is held for girls ages 7-13. The camp will run from 5:30-8 p.m. and is designed to refine each player’s technical and tactical skills while providing a solid foundation for learning the skills necessary to continue to grow and enjoy the game. The cost of this camp is $99.
The Little Crusaders Camp is designed for boys and girls 4-6 years of age, the camp will serve as a fun introduction to the game of soccer for young players. The cost of this camp, which runs from 6-7 p.m. each day, is $35.

Valparaiso volleyball head coach Carin Avery and the Crusader volleyball team will host its annual summer camp from July 8-11, 2013 at the Athletics-Recreation Center on the Valpo campus. The camp is open to both girls and boys, grades 3-12. The Crusaders will also be hosting another camp as part of a combination Soccer/Volleyball camp from August 5-7, 2013 for youths in grades K-8.
The Crusader volleyball July 2013 summer camp offers a strong emphasis on fundamental volleyball skill improvement. Groups will be divided according to ability. Evening sessions incorporate competitive drills and games, leading to the Tournament of Champions. The cost of the camp is $420 for overnight campers and $335 for commuter campers.
New this year is the combination soccer/volleyball camp from August 5-7. Campers can choose to take part in either both parts of the camp or just volleyball portion. The cost of the camp is $100 for both segments or $75 for just the volleyball segment.

Tennis Camp Flyer/Registration Form
Valparaiso University will be hosting camps this summer at the Valpo Tennis Complex beginning June 10th. The junior clinics (ages 5-18) are broken down into a beginner group and an intermediate/advanced group. The adult session (ages 18 and up) will run for an hour in the evening.
There will be five four-day camps in total held Monday-Thursday.
The beginner and adult groups are $40 per week and the intermediate/advanced groups are $80 per week.
Individual and group lessons are also available upon request.

The two-time Horizon League champion Valparaiso softball program will be hosting three camps this summer, covering players at all grade levels.
Valpo's first camp will be a high school camp, held for players entering grades 9-12, from June 17-19. There are three options for camp registration: a residential camp, which includes all sessions, three nights of dorm housing, dinner on Sunday, all three meals Monday/Tuesday and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, for $400; all sessions and lunch all three days for $225; or just the morning sessions for $115.
The Crusaders will host a grade school camp from July 15-17. There are two options for camp registration: all sessions and lunch all three days for $225; or just the morning sessions for $115.
Both the high school and grade school camps will include defensive and offensive skill work, while skill work for pitchers and catchers will also be held. Morning sessions will focus more on skill instruction and drill work while afternoon sessions will be more game like situations including scrimmages. This will allow participants to learn new drills and put their new skills to work during live action for Valparaiso University instructors to continue to help participants improve on the field.
The final camp Valpo will host is a K-2 camp, held July 22-24. The camp will run 9am-4pm all three days, with lunch included as well. This camp will include the introduction to basic softball skills as well as various other summer activities on campus. Campers need no previous softball experience, newcomers are welcome.
